Ski & Stay Packages with Snowy Range Ski Area
For the second year in a row, the Vee Bar is partnering with the Snowy Range Ski Area to offer a package deal for skiing enthusiasts.  Lift tickets, lodging, breakfast, and a discount on your ski/snowboard rental are included.  Enjoy a day in the mountains and then relax at the Vee Bar in your cabin by the river.  Take advantage of the outdoor hot tub, the John Wayne Saloon and our restaurant.  Menu-style dinners are served on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. (reservations are required) for an additional charge.  A full, hot breakfast will be set up in the main lodge, and is included with your cabin.  New this year, you can also order a sack lunch.  Place your lunch order the day before, and your lunch will be ready for you to pick up at breakfast.

With gas prices rising and travel becoming more and more expensive, why not take a vacation close to home? There are many great things to do in your own backyard! The Vee Bar is offering a deal that has never been offered before, and it?s designed to make traveling in our great state even more affordable. Not only do Wyoming residents get a deal, so do their guests! Wyoming residents can book a three or six-night summer guest ranch vacation and receive a nice discount. If a Wyoming family chooses to bring an out-of-state family with them to the Vee Bar, the out-of-state family also receives a discount. The package includes three delicious, hearty home-cooked meals per day, horseback riding, your own horse for the week, riding lessons, guided hiking, fishing (guided with prearrangements), river tubing, trap-shooting, wagon rides, cattle work, campouts, evening entertainment, and so much more! It really is a vacation for the entire family, riders and non-riders alike. Since you pay one price for the package, you already receive a deal compared to purchasing lodging, meals, and activities separately. Everything is conveniently located at the Vee Bar and there is no need to drive anywhere once you are at the ranch. Guests at the Vee Bar are treated like family, and will certainly make friends with the Kilmer and Cole Families, who are owners and managers of the Vee Bar. Guests who have been to the Vee Bar say that their Vee Bar vacation was the best vacation they have ever taken. There is not another vacation as wholesome and fun as a vacation at a guest ranch.

Here is the deal: Wyoming residents who book a six-night summer guest ranch stay will receive $200 off per person ($100 for three-night stays). Furthermore, Wyoming residents will receive a commission for each out of state person that they bring with them. A discount equal to 10% of the out-of-state guest?s package will be deducted from the Wyoming resident?s bill. The larger the group, the more savings! The out-of-state residents also receive a discount equal to $100 per person in their group staying six nights, and $50 for those staying three nights. The savings could really rack up, and it?s the perfect opportunity to introduce your out-of-state guests to Wyoming and true western hospitality.

Example: The Smith family of four is Wyoming residents. They bring a family of four (Jones) with them from out of state. (July rates are used in this example).

Smith family:
$1800 x 2 = $3600 (rate for the first two people)
$1600 x 2 = $3200 (rate for additional people in the same cabin)
Subtotal = $6800 for Smith family
Discount $200 per person ($200 x 4) = -$800
Vacation total so far: $6000

Jones vacation for four people is $6800
Discount $100 per person ($100 x 4) = -$400
Jones vacation total = $6400

Smith family?s commission = 10% of Jones? vacation = -$640
Smith family?s vacation now totals $5360
Smith family?s savings is over $1000!
